BGIS 2025 Wildcard Stage: Teams, Format, and Key Details

The Wildcard Stage of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 will take place from March 24 to 27. A total of 64 teams will compete for 16 spots in Semifinals Week 2. This stage gives teams that couldn't qualify in the Quarterfinals another chance to stay in the tournament.

Format and Qualification Criteria

The Quarterfinals, which concluded on March 23, determined the first 16 teams advancing directly to the Semifinals Week 1. The remaining 48 teams from this phase have now joined 16 additional teams from Round 4, making up the 64 squads in the Wildcard Stage.

For the initial two days, these teams will compete in four groups. Following the completion of these matches, they will be reshuffled into new groups for the final two days. At the end of the Wildcard Stage, only the top 16 teams from the overall standings will progress to Semifinals Week 2, while the remaining 48 teams will be eliminated from the competition.
