Call of Duty has officially announced on Twitter that the latest Double XP Weekend for Black Ops 6 and Warzone has been extended by another 48 hours. Players now have until February 12, 2025, at 11:30 PM IST to take advantage of the event.
Why Was the Double XP Weekend Extended?
Following the initial announcement, the Twitter comments were flooded with players requesting an extension due to PSN issues that left many PlayStation users unable to access the game. These connectivity problems prevented them from benefiting from the Double XP event.
While the developers haven’t issued an official statement regarding the reason behind the extension, it’s highly likely that the decision was influenced by these widespread PlayStation issues. However, this extended event is not exclusive to PlayStation players on all platforms can enjoy the extra time to level up.
