COD Black Ops 6 Season 3: Verdansk is Back & More!
Warzone Season 3 launches on April 3, 2025, bringing back Verdansk, classic weapons like the Grau 5.56, and the return of the controversial Roze Operator. Here’s what’s coming!

Season 3 is Bringing the Heat
After a slow few months, Warzone is getting a serious revival with Season 3—and the biggest news? Verdansk is finally making a comeback! While the legendary map won’t be part of multiplayer, there’s still plenty for Black Ops 6 players to look forward to.
Here’s everything we know so far, including when Season 3 drops and what’s coming with it.
When Does Black Ops 6 Season 3 Start?
Mark your calendars—Season 3 kicks off on April 3, 2025.
Originally set to launch on March 20, Activision decided to push it back by two weeks for extra polish. They’ve called it a “big moment” for the franchise, so it seems like they’re making sure everything is just right.
The Grau and HDR weapons are potentially returning to Call of Duty: Warzone with Verdansk, per sources.

Classic Weapons Are Coming Back
Leaks from CharlieIntel have hinted at a fan-favorite weapon lineup making a return:
- Grau 5.56
- HDR
- CR-56 AMAX
- Kilo 141
These were absolute meta beasts during Verdansk’s original run, so it makes sense they’d return alongside the iconic map. And since Black Ops 6 and Warzone are integrated, BO6 players will also get to enjoy these classic guns.
The Return of a Controversial Operator
Weapons aren’t the only thing making a comeback—the infamous Roze Operator is rumored to be returning as well.
Roze became a hot topic back in 2020 when her Rook skin—a nearly all-black outfit—gave players a sneaky advantage by making them almost invisible in dark corners. This led to a flood of complaints about it being “pay-to-win.”
It’s unlikely that we’ll see the original Rook skin return in the same form, but Roze’s comeback would still be a fun throwback to one of Warzone’s most controversial moments. If the leaks are true, she’ll also be available in BO6, either as a Battle Pass unlock or in a bundle.
What Else is Coming in Season 3?
Alongside all the returning content, here’s what else we can expect:
- Season 3 Battle Pass
- New weapons
- New maps
- New Operators
- New perks & equipment
- Weapon buffs & nerfs
- Crossovers
- In-game events
With Verdansk returning, fan-favorite weapons making a comeback, and a new season packed with fresh content, Season 3 is shaping up to be a must-play for Warzone and BO6 fans alike!
