Deadlock player's wish is becoming true. The game will finally have a competitive queue for those who believe they are the best. On October 15, Deadlock ranked became available for everyone to play. If you have played enough number of games and follow a proper schedule. Players have been eagerly anticipating this feature, but there are some initial limitations to be aware of. 

How to Unlock Deadlock Ranked Mode

To access ranked mode, you must have to complete 50 games in the standard matchmaking queue. In addition, players with behaviour restrictions, such as text or voice bans, will be unable to queue for ranked.

Currently, ranked mode is limited to solo play, but team play may be added later as the game is still in its developing phase. To keep your rank active, you must play at least seven ranked matches per week, so they can gather enough data to update.

Deadlock Ranked Mode's Launch Date

Ranked mode in Deadlock will go live on October 15, 2024, at 1 p.m. PST. This is the first window for scheduling purposes. In regard to time-zoning, the players could have a preference in one of the time zones that will be convenient for them and changeable once a week.

The game auto-deploys you into the server with the highest ping, and there are matches available in the afternoon or evening based on your time zone. Deadlock will award ranked medals every Tuesday according to your performance and you will only be matched against players of the same medal level.
