Mega Esports tournament Esports World Cup is going to be held in July this year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The World Cup will be featuring a bunch of games and Overwatch 2 is part of the club. The Overwatch 2 matches will hosted from July 24 to July 28.
Overwatch 2 Esports World Cup Format
The Overwatch 2 will happen in round-robin groups. All of the Group Stage matches will be first-to-three (Ft3) ones. The top 3 teams of each group will qualify for the Playoffs. Also top team of each group will get a first-round bye. Next, the 2024 Esports World Cup Overwatch 2 Playoffs Stage will happen under a single-elimination format. All of the matches will be Ft3 again.
