The EWC 2025 Week 1 was filled with a lot of action and fun. The week began with an Opening Ceremony that saw artists like Post Malone headlining the event. Besides that, Telle Smith also took the stage to debut the EWC anthem “Til My Fingers Bleed,” which is co-written by Alex Karlsson.

EWC 2025 Week 1 Tournament Results

Team Redline came in as the reigning champion in Rennsport R1 and defended their title

In their quest for the title, they defeated teams including Virtus Pro, Porsche Coanda, and Team Vitality. The defending champions won three out of the four races of the group stage and then won the grand finals to walk home with $200,000 win and 1,000 Club Championship (CC) points.

GO1 wins the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves championship

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves took place from July 10 to 12, with Japan’s Joichi “GO1” Kishida, representing DetonatioN FocusMe, winning the championship and walking home with a prize of $300,000 and 1,000 Club points for his team.

First-ever ​​​​​​VALORANT Champion gets crowned

Team Heretics were named as the first-ever EWC VALORANT champions. The team was in the finals against Fnatic, who were coming into this after winning Masters Toronto. With this, they also got $500,000 prize and 1,000 Club Points. 

VK Gaming wins Apex Legends ALGS Midseason Playoffs

This win might have come as a shock to many Apex Legends followers. This competition consisted of teams like Ninjas in Pyjamas, ROC Esports, Team Falcons, and Alliance. But VK Gaming were the better ones in the finals, and they got $600,000, 3,000 Championship Points, and 1,000 Club Points after eliminating Wolves Esports. 

 DOTA 2 Playoffs Begin

DOTA 2 saw the group stages and the Elimination Phase take place from July 12 to 13. Four teams have made it directly to the finals. They are: 

  • Team Spirit (Group A)

  • BetBoom Team (Group B)

  • Aurora Gaming (Group C)

  • Team Liquid (Group D)

Elimination Phase winners will also be seen in the Playoffs. They are:

MLBB MSC 2025 Group Stage: Virtus Pro Qualifies

MLBB MSC 2025 Wildcard Stage took place from July 10 to 13. Virtus Pro defeated Rare Atom with a scoreline of 3–1 in the grand final. The MSC 2025 Group Stage will now have 16 squads. They are:
