Fans Think Marvel Rivals Human Torch Outfit Is Inspired by One Piece: Here's All You Need to Know
Johnny Storm’s upcoming Marvel Rivals summer skin draws attention for its striking similarity to One Piece’s Doflamingo, according to sharp-eyed fans

Marvel Rivals showing off a new swimsuit skin for Human Torch, and fans instantly started guessing. Because it really does look a lot like the One Piece villain Donquixote Doflamingo.
That’s what many people online think, anyway.
The card from the Summer Spectacular shows Johnny Storm wearing a pink shirt (not buttoned), small red sunglasses, and short blond hair. It sounds familiar, and that’s kind of Doflamingo’s whole thing. The funny part is One Piece’s official Twitter even reacted to all this with a thinking emoji and art of Doflamingo. It’s not really a yes, but also not a no.

It’s Not First Time People Spotted Anime Stuff in the Game
Before this Doflamingo idea, fans already were saying that Mr. Fantastic has moves like Luffy. Especially that punch where he gets all big and slams down. People compared it to Luffy’s inflated attack moves from One Piece. So this isn’t the first anime vibe in Marvel Rivals, even if they never say it directly.
As for the Human Torch skin, it’s not in the game yet. But people believe it’s coming sometime after Season 3.0, probably with update 3.5. And also, a team-up with The Thing is happening on July 25. That’s interesting timing, since it’s right after the new Fantastic Four movie comes out.
Normally, Marvel Rivals stays inside its own universe. Emma Frost’s X-Revolution skin was based on classic Marvel comics. So if this Doflamingo thing is real, it’s kind of rare.

Whether it’s on purpose or just a funny coincidence, fans love the idea. Johnny Storm and Doflamingo both have big personalities and loud fashion senses, so maybe it fits too well. Maybe Marvel is not saying much now, but fans are hoping more anime-looking skins show up soon. This kind of mix keeps the game fun and surprising.
