FIFA Rivals partners with Adidas for a limited-time collab featuring in-game gear, a digital training ground, and tradable collectibles.

The much-awaited football arcade-type game FIFA Rivals is finally releasing worldwide on June 12. And it’s already making big noise—this time by partnering with Adidas. Mythical Games confirmed their team-up with the popular sports brand, bringing digital-only kits, boots, and more into the game.
FIFA Rivals was first introduced back in late 2024, and since then, players have shown great excitement. After EA dropped the FIFA license, Mythical picked it up and is now giving fans a refreshed experience. Now with Adidas in the mix, this makes the launch sharper and full of hype.
Adidas Training Ground and Custom Gear to Arrive in FIFA Rivals
This collaboration is more visible than usual crossovers, where often the differences are small. Here, in FIFA Rivals, players can train and warm up inside a special Adidas Training Ground. It’s designed right inside the gameplay environment.
And once players are on the field, they will wear exclusive Adidas outfits—boots, jerseys, and full-body gear that’s created for the game. Some of it is based on classic Adidas items and some on their newer designs. Also, a few pieces might be inspired by real athletes’ performances in football, bringing realism into the visuals.

Unlike normal games, FIFA Rivals also includes Web3 features. Through the Mythical Marketplace, players can trade or buy Adidas digital items. These include limited-edition cleats and even legendary retro kits.
The gear is all digital, but because it’s on the blockchain, items are ownable and tradeable. This gives the Adidas collab a premium touch, especially for those who want to show off their style while competing online.

John Linden, CEO of Mythical Games, shared his view by saying, “FIFA Rivals celebrates the energy of football. Adidas fits that very well.” He said this collaboration lets players show their identity while enjoying the fast-paced game on their screens.
