Fortnite 34.10 Update: How To get Free Rewards, Golden Gunslinger Quests & Midas Skin

Fortnite is celebrating the return of Midas with the brand-new Golden Gunslinger Quests, introduced in the 34.10 update for Chapter 6, Season 2. These quests offer players a chance to earn both free and exclusive Outlaw Battle Pass skins and cosmetics, making it an exciting event for long-time fans and new players alike.
What’s New in the 34.10 Update?
The 34.10 update, which launched on March 11, is the first major content patch of the season. Along with new Story and Weekly Quests, the game has introduced a special set of Midas-themed quests, marking his grand return with two fresh skins: Outlaw Midas and Ghost Outlaw Midas.
To help you keep track of everything, here’s a breakdown of the Golden Gunslinger Quests, along with all the rewards you can unlock along the way.
Golden Gunslinger Quests
Drop 1 Quests
The first batch of quests, known as Drop 1, includes seven challenges, each rewarding 30,000 XP upon completion.
- Eliminate Fletcher Kane or guards from this Pack (20)
- Deal 100 damage to opponents with a single shotgun blast (3)
- Collect or spend Bars in a single match (1,500)
- Travel a total distance of 200 meters on Grindable Rails
- Open Vaults (3)
- Collect different Medallions or Boons (4)
- Survive 20 Storm Circles
Drop 2 Quests
Fortnite is also teasing Drop 2, the next set of quests that will arrive on March 18, 2025, at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 2 PM GMT. The details of these quests are still under wraps, but they will provide even more opportunities to earn rewards.
Midas-Themed Rewards
As part of the Golden Gunslinger event, players can unlock two sets of exclusive Midas-themed rewards by completing special Bonus Goals.

These rewards can be earned by all players, regardless of whether they own the Lawless Battle Pass.

These rewards are exclusive to players who own the Lawless Battle Pass for the season.

- Earn 6 Account Levels – Bullet Rider Glider
- Earn 10 Account Levels – Outlaw Midas Skin and Golden Ghoul Spray Emote
- Earn 12 Account Levels – Outlaw’s Mugshot Emote
- Earn 16 Account Levels – King of the Outlaws Spray Emote
- Earn 20 Account Levels – Gunslinger Outlaw Midas Skin
- Earn 22 Account Levels – Ghost Outlaw’s Whipknives Pickaxe
- Earn 26 Account Levels – Aka The Golden Gunslinger Loading Screen
- Earn 30 Account Levels – Ghost Outlaw’s Knife Rack Back Bling
- Earn 32 Account Levels – Ghost Outlaw Midas Skin
Players have until May 2 at 9 PM PT / May 1 at 12 AM ET / 4 AM GMT to complete all the Golden Gunslinger Quests, progress through the Bonus Goal tiers, and unlock all the available rewards.
What Else is New in the 34.10 Update?
Aside from the Golden Gunslinger Quests, the update has also introduced some exciting features to the Lawless season:
- Outlaw Factions – These factions bring new Keycards, pre-set Loadouts, and an expanded weapon pool, including brand-new weapons and Mythics.
- Getaway Limited-Time Mode (LTM) Returns – The iconic Getaway LTM from Chapter 1 is making a comeback, but with a fresh twist to match the current season’s theme.
