When Does Fortnite OG Season 3 Drop?

Mark your calendars because OG Season 3 is set to launch on March 25, 2025. This info comes from reliable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR and an official blog post from Epic Games, which confirms this is the day the current OG Season Pass wraps up.

Possible OG Season 3 Skins

Epic Games hasn’t revealed the skins for OG Season 3 just yet, but looking at past seasons, we can take a good guess at what’s coming.

The original Fortnite Season 3 from 2018, known as Meteor Strike, had a space exploration theme and introduced the Mission Specialist skin—aka Jonesy in a spacesuit. Other classic outfits included Dark Voyager, Rust Lord, and Elite Agent.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Epic brings back some of these old favorites with a fresh remix, just like they’ve done in previous OG Passes.

Weapons That Might Return

A new season means a fresh loot pool, but if OG Season 3 follows tradition, we’ll likely see some classic weapons make a comeback. Here are some that could return:

  • Assault Rifles: Standard AR, Burst AR, Scoped AR
  • Shotguns: Heavy, Tactical, Pump
  • SMGs: Tactical, Suppressed
  • Snipers: Hunting Rifle, Semi-Auto, Bolt-Action
  • Explosives: Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher, Guided Missile
  • Throwables & Gadgets: Boogie Bomb, Impulse Grenade, Port-A-Fort, Bush

If you’ve been missing the minigun or light machine gun, this might be your chance to grab them again.

POIs That Could Make a Comeback

Back in the day, Season 3 introduced Lucky Landing, a fan-favorite spot with a traditional aesthetic. Alongside that, we could see the return of these classic locations:

  • Tilted Towers – The king of chaotic drops
  • Loot Lake – Where late-game fights got intense
  • Greasy Grove – Burgers and battles
  • Shifty Shafts – Tunnels full of sneaky plays

If these POIs make a return, expect some serious nostalgia along with them.

Wrapping It Up

That’s everything we know so far about OG Season 3 in Fortnite. While we wait for Epic Games to drop more official details, it’s a good time to brush up on your skills, check out free skins, and get ready for some OG-style action.
