Such an event would become a momentous occasion in the life of the character, as well as the game in general, regarding cosmetic plans.
Since his debut, Neuvillette has been one of the fastest-growing fan-favorites because of his gracefulness, poise, and strength. His aesthetic appearance would not be the only element to see improvements with the addition of a skin, but it would also improve his position as a flagship character in the Fontaine arc. The thing that really got the community excited is the fact that maybe this might become a 5-star rarity skin just like the one on Diluc: the Red Dead of Night outfit that was implemented in Version 2.8. In the case that this is true, Neuvillette would then become the second character in the game to be given a premium-tier skin, a trend that may become the new precedent, especially among male characters. It is also in line with HoYoverse's recent affinity with releasing skins based on character types and rarity.
Rumored based on other recent leaks, Version 5.8 will add new skins to Yelan (potentially 5-star) and Bennett (probably 4-star).
