Magik’s Punkchild Skin is Also Coming

Hulk isn’t the only one getting a new look—NetEase also confirmed that Magik will receive a Punkchild skin on the same day. While there’s no gameplay footage yet, leaks suggest it will cost 2,200 Units, meaning it might come with unique animations and a special nameplate.

Season 1.5 Update Brings New Content

Alongside the new skins, Season 1.5 has already introduced:

  • Human Torch and The Thing as playable heroes
  • A brand-new Central Park map
  • Various balance tweaks and gameplay changes

Hulk’s Playstyle in Marvel Rivals

Hulk isn’t just a brute force character—his unique abilities make him both a powerful attacker and a solid defender.

  • Indestructible Guard – Shields himself and nearby allies
  • Incredible Leap – Allows Hulk to reposition quickly on the battlefield
  • Monster Hulk Transformation – Boosts his size and power
  • World Breaker – Grabs an enemy by the leg and repeatedly smashes them into the ground

Community Concerns Over Balance

While new content is exciting, some players have been frustrated with melee heroes like Hulk and Magik since the 1.5 update. Many believe that flying characters are dominating matches, making it tough for melee-focused heroes to compete. Some have suggested that NetEase should introduce Vanguards with more ranged abilities to balance things out.

As of now, NetEase hasn’t commented on the issue, but with more skins, heroes, and content on the way, the community is optimistic about the game’s future.
