Marvel Rivals Patch Rolls Out April 17: Customization Features, Hero Fixes, and Razer Support Added

Marvel Rivals adds costume colors, hero fixes, and Razer support in April 17 update.

Marvel Rivals is releasing its latest patch on April 17, 2025, at 09:00 UTC. Players will not experience any server interruptions during the update, which will install automatically. Once complete, users can continue gameplay as usual.

New Feature: Costume Color Customization

A fresh customization feature will become available on April 17 at 2 AM PDT. Players can now apply alternate color variations to character costumes. These color packs are available in the in-game store and can be toggled at will once purchased.

Two new bundles are set to launch in the store on April 17 at 7 PM PDT:

  • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Bundle
  • Peni Parker – Yatsukahagi Bundle

Gameplay Fixes Across Platforms

A range of issues have been addressed in this patch:

  • Fixed a bug that caused unusual camera angles following player respawn.
  • Corrected a problem where importing reticle settings showed an invalid character error.
  • Terrain glitches on multiple maps that led to characters becoming stuck or clipping through surfaces have been resolved.

Hero-Specific Adjustments

Several heroes received targeted fixes:

  • Wolverine: Issues with the Ultimate Ability not completing properly under poor network conditions have been fixed. A separate fix ensures directional control is now consistent during the Fastball Special.
  • Bruce Banner/The Hulk: A rare visual glitch when transforming in specific terrain zones has been corrected.
  • The Thing: A UI bug related to terrain kills using his Ultimate Ability has been resolved to reflect proper KO prompts.
  • Adam Warlock: Fixed a problem that allowed resurrection of teammates in inaccessible areas on the Spider-Island map.

PC Enhancements

PC players now have access to integrated support for Razer Chroma RGB lighting and Razer Sensa HD Haptics. These additions offer over 600 unique haptic responses, including feedback for transformations, spellcasting, and projectile impacts. The new Razer features are available through the experimental settings menu in the Marvel Launcher and require compatible Razer devices.
