Along with the double weakness, Mega Y Charizard is weak to the Rock type. You can defeat the raid quite easily using two high-level trainers with good teams. For lower-level trainers, you should have a group of at least four.

Keep in mind that the speed at which you can complete a Mega Raid, the more Mega Energy will be rewarded, so more trainers can be beneficial.

Weather Effects

These weather boosts will help you conserve as much candy as possible, achieve better IVs, and give your team the boosts in power that are necessary. To increase the odds of running into a higher CP Charizard, and to boost your counters, these raids should be taken on during Sunny or Windy weather. Both kinds of weather from this duo will boost Mega Y Charizard with an extra advantage added to your raid efforts served by boosting your Rock-type counters.
