LE SSERAFIM Collab: Five New Skins Coming
Following its first K-pop collaboration, Overwatch 2 is once again teaming up with LE SSERAFIM, bringing a new set of skins inspired by their latest album, HOT.
Characters Receiving LE SSERAFIM Skins:
- Juno
- Illari
- D.Va
- Mercy
- Ashe
These skins will be available in the store, alongside new Blue Flame variants of the original LE SSERAFIM skins from late 2024.
Perk System Adjustments
The new Perks system, introduced in Season 15, has been a game-changer—but some Perks have quickly become must-picks, creating balancing issues.
Blizzard has confirmed that the mid-season update will focus on balancing these Perks before new ones are added in Season 16.
While full details haven’t been released yet, we do know one hero getting a major Perk adjustment:
- Bastion’s self-heal is getting a resource meter.
- Before the update, Bastion could heal indefinitely, making him difficult to take down unless an entire team focused on him.
- After the patch, his healing will be limited and will recharge over time, similar to Roadhog’s ability.
More Perk tweaks are expected, but we’ll have to wait for the full patch notes for specifics.
Other Expected Changes in the Mid-Season 15 Update
Besides Perk changes and new skins, players can also expect:
- Hero buffs and nerfs – Balance changes for multiple heroes.
- Widowmaker Mythic weapon skin – A brand-new skin for the sniper.
- Freja hero trial – Players may get a chance to try out the upcoming new hero, Freja, before her official debut.
- Bug fixes and gameplay improvements – Blizzard will address known issues to improve overall gameplay.
Looking Ahead: What’s Coming in Season 16?
While Season 15’s mid-season update is packed with content, Season 16 is already shaping up to be a massive shake-up for Overwatch 2.
Here’s what’s on the horizon:
- Hero bans in Competitive mode – A major change to ranked play.
- Stadium mode – A new Counter-Strike-inspired game mode coming to Overwatch.
- New Perks & hero balance updates – More adjustments to the evolving Perk system.
