Roadhog Was Almost Included, But… Not a K-Pop Fan?

In a fun behind-the-scenes tidbit, Overwatch 2 Art Director Dion Rogers revealed that Blizzard originally planned to give Roadhog a LE SSERAFIM skin—mainly to pair him with Junkrat, who got the Fawksey James outfit in the first wave.

However, the devs ultimately decided against it, citing Roadhog’s “musical preferences” as the reason. “Maybe Roadhog is not as into K-Pop music as we might think,” Rogers explained in an interview with Comicbook. They try to match skins with what would make sense for the characters, and Roadhog just didn’t seem like the type to vibe with the LE SSERAFIM aesthetic.
