PUBG Mobile 3.8 Update Introduces Tactical Enhancements, New Weaponry, and More
PUBG Mobile 3.8 adds new weapons, vehicles, and support items for deeper tactical play.

PUBG Mobile's latest 3.8 update adds an entirely new level of strategic complexity to the battlefield in the shape of a range of new weapons, gear, motor vehicles, and gameplay mechanics all now accessible to the majority of maps. Intended to make gameplay more tactic-focused and squad-friendly, the update will reward both aggressive and supportive players.
Explosive New Weapon and Attachments
Leading the upgrade of the arsenal is the Sticky Bomb, a wall- and vehicle-sticking grenade that detonates after a short delay. Being able to inflict high area damage, the Sticky Bomb opens new opportunities for ambush and objective disruption.
Players will also encounter a new Heavy Stock weapon attachment that can be applied to weapons that have the Tactical Stock. The attachment offers substantial recoil reduction while moving horizontally and vertically but at the cost of slower aim-down-sights speed—tasking players to balance trade-offs in their loadout tuning.
Support Items and Medic Roles Extend
Cooperative gamers can now play the combat medic class with the new Portable Med Pack. At 10 tokens and available in stores, the add-on allows users to send healing supplies—like bandages, first aid kits, and med kits—to allies and increase team survivability during heavy firefights.
Vehicle System Overhaul and New Additions
The update brings many changes to car mechanics. The large quality-of-life item is the Spare Tire that can be seen on all maps except Karakin and can be used to change out blown tires on any vehicle. They can also be purchased from in-game stores for five tokens, making you less likely to get stranded due to tire blowouts. Besides, mobility is granted a firepower bonus: the players can use one-handed weapons while on motorcycles (two-seater and sidecars), scooters, and bikes. The transport vehicles are maintained at a constant forward speed, allowing for combat mid-drive.
The Rondo map introduces us to the launch of a new, highly armored vehicle—the Pillar UAZ. The SUV is available for purchase for 50 tokens at Rondo outlets and comes fitted with fortified equipment such as dent-proof panels, protected windows, and heavy-duty tires. Defensive construction, however, leaves the players incapable of shooting from inside since the walled window design.
