Rainbow Six Siege X Showdown Update Brings Wild West Mode, New Operators & Exclusive Rewards
Rainbow Six Siege X Showdown returns till July 9 with 3v3 battles, new operators, Twitch drops, western-themed bundles, and gameplay fixes.

The new update comes to Rainbow Six Siege X and it brings back Showdown mode again from June 25 to July 9, 2025. It’s a wild-west theme mode with a 3v3 setup. Players fight on the Fort Truth map, which looks dusty and very old, like the western times. Attackers are trying to secure the area while defenders are stopping them from doing so. The weapons like BOSG and revolvers are only allowed to be used, which makes the gameplay more intense, sometimes.
More Operators Added to Roster
Ubisoft added new operators this time in Showdown. It’s now included Flores, Gridlock, also Oryx. Some people are happy with this, as it gives a bit more variety in match strategy but still many players say it feels the same. But at least there is more options, especially for fans who like these ops from the main game.
Bundles and Rewards Event Brings
The showdown event has a new collection with different bundles. There are three brand new operator bundles and four variant types. One big Signature bundle is also available. Player gets one free pack when logging in during event time. If someone buys and collects all items in this event, they get an exclusive Memento skin for the 9×19 VSN gun, which is used by Kapkan, Azami, and Tachanka.
Some players say rewards look cool, but a bit expensive, maybe. It depends on how much you want to spend or grind for it.
Twitch Drops and Weekly Rewards
Starting from June 25, you can watch Siege X streams on Twitch to unlock unique items. The first reward comes in 30 minutes, and then more like monocle headgear, weapon skin, and uniform after a few hours of watching. The last reward comes at 5 hours of watch time. All cosmetics are for Glaz this time.
Also, two new bundles can be unlocked weekly in-game challenges—Capitao and Glaz ones. Players need to complete tasks for that, which change every week.
Bug Fix and Small Improvements
Ubisoft released a small update of around 200MB on June 25. It fixes issues with Dual Front mode and some stability stuff. Health for the “Down But Not Out” state is now 50, not 100. There are some crash fixes and adjustments in the Reputation System, too. Anti-cheat got updated, but some say still not much improvement.
The Showdown 2 event in Siege X is back with a cowboy theme and new content. It brings old fun with a few more updates. Even though not all are happy with the progression system, it’s still enjoyable for quick matches and those who like limited-time skins. You should try before it's gone again on July 9.
