Sentinels, one of the most iconic esports organizations, first made its mark in Valorant with legendary players like TenZ. Over the years, the team has built a massive and dedicated fan base, becoming the fastest-growing esports organization in North America on social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram from 2022 to 2024.
Now, Sentinels is making another bold move by officially entering the Marvel Rivals esports scene, expanding beyond its roots in Valorant.
Shroud’s Involvement: A New Super Team in the Making?
The possibility of a collaboration between Sentinels and FPS legend Michael “shroud” Grzesiek has been a hot topic. Both Sentinels CEO Rob Moore and shroud had previously hinted at discussions regarding a Marvel Rivals team. During the final day of his charity stream, shroud even invited interested teams and players to reach out, confirming that plans were in motion.
“To any esports team that has reached out to us in the past week because I know you guys have been hearing talks about an org, at this point, it is happening,” said shroud. “Send emails, send messages, whatever you got. We will respond. Let’s try to make this thing happen. Let’s start up a Marvel Rivals team.”

Sentinels’ Teasers Hint at Something Big
The organization had been dropping hints about an expansion for weeks. One of their early teasers cryptically stated, “Marveling at how many rivals we’ve got.”
This was followed by a teaser collage featuring Captain America’s shield, Iron Man’s Arc Reactor, and Spider-Man’s suit—all emblazoned with the Sentinels logo, fueling speculation about their Marvel Rivals involvement.
Is a Shroud x Sentinels Collaboration Happening?
While Sentinels has officially entered Marvel Rivals esports, they have yet to announce their roster. It remains uncertain whether shroud will have an active role in the team or if Sentinels is simply expanding into the new esports title independently.
