Silent Hill Roadmap Leak Reveals Major Releases Through 2028: SHf, Townfall, SH1 Remake & More
A major leak from Dusk Golem reveals Konami’s Silent Hill roadmap through 2028, including SHf in 2025, Townfall in 2026, a SH1 Remake in 2027, and a new in-house game in 2028. Here’s what we know.

Leaker Dusk Golem (AestheticGamer1) dropped a roadmap on X, laying out what Konami might have cooking beyond the upcoming Silent Hill f release in 2025
2025: Silent Hill f : set to drop this September.
2026: Silent Hill: Townfall : another new entry from third-party developer (formerly No Code, now Screen Burn).
2027: Silent Hill 1 Remake : reportedly hit development around mid‑2022 and possibly slated for a 2027 release.
2028: A new internal Konami Silent Hill game : no details yet, but likely a fully in‑house production.
(1/2) Silent Hill 1 Remake as far as I know started dev around 3 years ago roughly.

If I had to take a guess at the Silent Hill game release schedule (all subject to change at the whims of game dev, Hell this whole OG plan was delayed by a couple years+f & Townfall switched https://t.co/wKPpXZGtSZ
What Each Title Might Bring
Silent Hill f (2025)
This drops first, and this standalone horror is expected to carry Bloober Team’s signature atmosphere including puzzles, tension, and dual first/third-person play. It launches this September.
Silent Hill: Townfall (2026)
Initially revealed in 2022, Townfall is being developed by No Code, which recently rebranded to Screen Burn. Not much gameplay is shown yet, but updates indicate it’s still in active development and may cater to a different flavor of survival horror.
Silent Hill 1 Remake (2027)
Bloober Team reportedly began working on this remake around 2022, even before the SH2 remaster was fully out
Push Square. This was following the success of the SH2 remake, and this one aims to reimagine the PS1 classic.
Internal Konami Game (2028)
The roadmap hints at an original or traditional sequel being worked on in‑house by Konami. Details are scarce, but it marks the company returning to the helm after outsourcing several titles
Why This Strategy Makes Sense
- Diverse dev approach: Konami is spreading out projects across different studios including Bloober, Screen Burn, and in‑house, basically mirroring what Capcom did with the RE series.
- Building momentum: After SH2 remake’s acclaim, Konami seems invested in restoring Silent Hill as a horror heavyweight. A spaced-out release plan keeps fans engaged and gives each game room to shine.
- Why 2028 might matter: If there is indeed a real Konami‑led game after all these, it could mark a return to the main timeline or a bold brand-new chapter in Silent Hill lore.
A Few Caveats
These timelines are leaks and projections, not official statements. As Dusk Golem admitted, dates may shift
X. Silent Hill f and Townfall are confirmed, while the remake and internal game are still speculation, though based on credible leaks.
What to Watch For
Capcom Spotlight/Gamescom: Rolling out in the next few months could show SH f live. Townfall updates may follow.
SH1 Remake details: If development started in 2022, teasers may drop in late 2025 or early 2026.
Internal game clues: These could emerge via hiring notices, trademark filings, or Konami’s studio updates.
It’s ambitious, with a solid rhythm of releases that could reestablish the series on a strong footing. For long-time fans and new players, there's a lot to look forward to.
