Fans of Wind Breaker can finally mark their calendars as the much-anticipated second season is set to premiere in April 2025. Adapted from Satoru Nii’s popular manga series, the anime is once again being produced by CloverWorks.
Based on reliable anime industry sources, Season 2 will have a total of 12 episodes. Although this has not been officially confirmed via Blu-ray listings, previous leaks from such sources have held up. Barring any last-minute alterations, the next season will have a typical 12-episode format.

The initial Wind Breaker Season 2 episode is scheduled for airing in Japan on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 12:26 AM JST. Still, because of differences in time zones, fans watching from around the world should get the episode available on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

Though this is the projected release schedule, any unexpected delays in production would necessitate scheduling adjustments. Should a delay occur, the remaining episodes will be delayed accordingly. Updates will be provided by the production team if any changes happen.
Where to Watch Wind Breaker Season 2
In Japan, the series will be broadcast on 28 MBS/TBS-affiliated channels under the Super Animeism TURBO programming block. ABEMA will also stream each episode as it is broadcast on TV.
For overseas viewers, Crunchyroll has announced that it will stream the anime weekly with English subtitles. The platform will also offer dubbed versions in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German at a later time.
Concurrently, the other streaming platforms including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, U-NEXT, and d Anime Store will release new episodes on Mondays at 12 PM JST after the TV airing.
