The game of Wuthering Waves is evolving to become denser as it adds to its in-game activities its latest in-game event named “Virtual Crisis: Frontier Trials.” This limited-time challenge will start on June 19, 2025, and end on July 23, 2025, giving players a chance to prove their prowess in more challenging ordeals and win an extensive variety of rewards.

The purpose of this event is a simulation program Tethys had created, which was currently improved with new information obtained in such regions as Black Shores and Rinascita. This means that hard situations that will challenge the skills to the best are what they are likely to have. Nevertheless, once these extremely difficult challenges are completed, some rewarding items await as well, such as 500 Astrite, Premium Tuners, Advanced Resonance Potions, and a special title, the title of a Virtual Vanquisher. In order to be eligible, players must achieve Union Level 30.
Players will be assuming Crisis Trials and Disaster Trials, both of different difficulty and mechanics. During the Crisis Trials, the player has an option of choosing the (Stress Level) that dictates the level of difficulty of the trial. They are going to encounter a default Stress Module as well, and they are allowed to use Support Modules to make the experience less uncomfortable. When it is successful, the corresponding Disaster Trial appears.
Another step up is Disaster Trials. These have no prescribed Stress Level, but use Support Modules upon performing, thus players should plan accordingly. Once these trials are passed and some of these targets are achieved, the players can gain Matrix Crystals and spend them on items of interest at the in-game Supply Station.
The players must be careful: when you choose a lot of Stress Modules, you may find the trials unbearably difficult. When a character is knocked out in a challenge, he or she has an option to revive by spending Stress Level and also receiving a useful buff, although this might affect the final scores.
There are greater rewards with greater risks. Whoever wants to demonstrate his/her power and gain exclusive loot must not fail to participate in this event, as it will be limited until July 23, 2025.
