This new update brings the game version to v1.1.0 along with multiple bug fixes and optimizations. The game developer and publisher outlined that this new update is out on all platforms including Xbox, and PlayStation. It is also rolling out to the PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna. As part of the announcement, the company also shared the file size for the update on different platforms. Ubisoft also shared another announcement regarding the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla v1.1.0 update released, details

The update announcement outlines several bug fixes in the in-game quests, world events, and side activity. Ubisoft has also made several optimizations to the game to improve the game performance across all supported platforms. Digging through the changelog, the developer has rolled out more than thirty fixes, focused on glitches stopping game progression. Some fixes also try to fix bugs in the game where characters don’t appear at the right place. Some examples include places where allies are not helping Eivor in opening doors, bosses unable to figure the next steps for the mission to proceed, and more.

Ubisoft has also made changes to the power-level of its non-player characters in the game. These changes are aimed at preventing freezes, remove glitches in graphics, and more. The update also comes with support for Settlement expansion along with the Yule Festival. Other fixes are spread across player abilities, perks, skills, UI, photo mode, and system hardware sections. As noted above, Ubisoft also stated that it has teamed up with a non-profit called Limbitless Solutions. Both companies outlined an Assassin’s Creed Odyssey-themed 3D-printed prosthetic arm. The non-profit is calling this “Bracers of the Underworld”. Ubisoft clarified that this is “inspired” from the second episode in “The Fate of Atlantis” story arc where Kassandra or Alexios battle Hades. This announcement comes just days after Xbox revealed its partnership with Limbitless Solutions for a Cyberpunk-themed bionic prosthetic arm.
