Besides the team strength, one should also note that the tournament registration is free of cost like most eSports events across India. This means that one just needs a team to get a chance to win from the Rs. 25 lakh prize-pool. However, we want the players to be at least 16 years or older to be eligible to compete in the tournament. The 16–18-year-old players need consent from their parents or legal guardian to participate in ESPL 2021. 18 years or older players can directly sign up for the event.

All players also need to sign-up for the India Today Gaming platform from the ESPL website to take part. This one-time registration will allow players to stay updated around the upcoming eSports tournaments from India Today Gaming besides ESPL. The platform also offers more features like following the latest news around gaming and the eSports industry. Coming back to teams, one player can’t be part of multiple teams during the tournament to offer a level playing field.

India Today Gaming also clarified that ESports Premier League (ESPL) 2021 is only limited to Indian players for the time being. As a platform, we have also shared a strict set of guidelines to prohibit gambling during the tournament. One can head to the official ESPL website to check out all the rules around the tournament.
