Now, talking about the World of Assassination, we have already covered the issues that IO Interactive is facing on PC. As noted in a past report, the company reaffirmed that it is working on a new solution allowing Hitman 1 and 2 players to import levels in Hitman 3 on PC. However, they need to wait for a couple of weeks as the solution is currently not ready. Beyond this, the system was likely to work without a hitch for players on other platforms.

But initial reports noted that the IOI Profile website meant for this import went down soon after the launch. To be clear, IO Interactive has outlined two different websites for the import process. One is meant to transfer the progress from older games to Hitman 3 and the second is meant to transfer the levels. Here, the Profile website is meant to handle the progress from older games. The game developer outlined that it is working to bring the website online. It also noted that this progress transfer will wipe any progress that players make in Hitman 3 before the process. The issues extended to other players who simply wanted to play the game as they could not connect to the servers.
