NVIDIA launches RTX 4070 Ti GPUs, new line-up of gaming laptops ft RTX 4080 & 4090 series at CES 2023; Here's everything NVIDIA announced

NVIDIA revealed its big launches for this year at the CES 2023 keynote yesterday. Here's every single announcement from NVIDIA that you need to know about including its latest line-up of gaming laptops, launch of RTX 4070 Ti and more.

The Consumer Electronic Show, one of the biggest and most anticipated tech showcases, is all set to begin tomorrow. However news has already started pouring in from all the biggies of the hardware industry,including the chip making giant NVIDIA. As a part of CES 2023, NVIDIA has revealed some of its big plans for this year, which includes announcing the RTX 4080 and 4090 laptops and the 4070 Ti GPU. As we cut to the chase, here’s everything new that NVIDIA announced for gamers at the CES 2023, that you need to know about. 

RTX 4080 & 4090 GPUs to feature in NVIDIA's latest laptop line-up

The RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 GPUs were earlier unveiled at the NVIDIA GTC event held in September 2022. Following this, yesterday NVIDIA announced that these GPUs will soon be made available for laptops in the market. The Nvidia RTX 4080 and 4090 GPUs will be featured in a range of over 170 laptop designs from top manufacturers. These laptops will be available in the market starting February 8, at a starting price of $1,999.

Highlights of new gaming laptop line-up

Nvidia claims that this latest laptop line-up of theirs packs in 3 times more power in terms of performance, as compared to the previous generation. The Ada Lovelace architecture of the GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs from NVIDIA, will once again be seen in action in these laptops. Working alongside DLSS 3, the latest in the technology and 5th Gen Max-Q technologies, Nvidia says that the laptops will “deliver up to 4x the performance in AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077”.

Additionally, Nvidia has also introduced a new line-up of laptops that feature the GeForce RTX 4070, 4060, and 4050 GPUs. These laptops will be available starting February 22nd, at a starting price of $999. 

NVIDIA introduces GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GPUs

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GPU that NVIDIA introduced yesterday, can be considered to be the comeback of the “unlaunched” RTX 4080 12 GB. Based on the Ada Lovelace architecture, along with the advantage of DLSS 3, NVIDIA claims that it is 3 times faster than the RTX 3090 Ti, at nearly half its power. PC Gamers will reportedly be able to max out the high refresh rates of 1440p monitors. The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GPUs will be available from tomorrow, 5th January at a starting price of $799. 

DLSS 3 new games announced

Since the introduction of the DLSS 3 at the Nvidia GeForce and Beyond event last year in September, NVIDIA has been consistently expanding its list of games which support the technology. CES 2023 added a couple more games to the list. Here are the new additions-

Cloud Gaming with NVIDIA GeForce Now- Here’s everything new

Nvidia has announced that the new 4080 series GPUs will be supporting Cloud Gaming with Nvidia GeForce Now. They will offer an upgrade in performance naturally, allowing streaming in frame rates as high as 240 FPS. Along with NVIDIA Reflex, a click-to-pixel latency below 40 milliseconds can also be achieved. However Cloud Gaming is still not supported in India, including the services provided by Nvidia GeForce Now. NVIDIA Reflex on the other hand now reportedly has better game support for “1440p 360Hz displays with Reflex Analyzer, and a new 240Hz Reflex gaming mode on GeForce NOW.”
