It will also be the first CS:GO Major held in France, a nation that has historically produced a number of strong players, including three Major champions who have won it twice.

Below is the schedule for each stage of the tournament:

  • Challengers Stage: May 8-11
  • Legends Stage: May 13-16

Historic victory by Apeks at the Paris CSGO Major

In their encounter against the Australian team Grayhound, Apeks achieved the third-ever 16-0 map win at an international major, creating CS:GO history at the 2023 Paris Major.

Although there have been plenty of one-sided stomps in CS:GO Majors, a 16-0 victory is still a remarkable sight. In the Challengers Stage of the 2023 Paris Major, the European team Apeks defeated Grayhound with a commanding 16-0 victory.

The two teams chose Mirage as the site of their second match of the tournament in the best-of-one clash. Early on in the contest, Apeks established dominance and prevented Grayhound from gaining momentum.

With a 23/4 Kills/Deaths ratio and a 2.01 HLTV rating, Justinas 'jL' Lekavicius, representing Apeks, topped the team in the game. Apeks now leads the Challengers Stage standings with a 2-0 record and a plus-20 round differential thanks to the victory.
