PUBG Corp, the company behind the banned Battle Royale smartphone game PUBG Mobile has just rolled out a new update. This new update brings the version number of the game up to 1.1 from 1.0. As part of the release of the update, the company also shared a detailed post outlining the changes in the new update. The primary focus of this update is likely the team-up between PUBG Mobile and Metro Exodus. As part of the new update, the game comes with a new Metro Exodus theme. PUBG Mobile 1.1 update, details
As mentioned above, the new update comes with a Metro Exodus theme. PUBG Corp has introduced “unique combat mechanics” along with a new Metro Royale game mode. This mode will also come with a new Metro Royale Gameplay lobby. In addition to the Metro Royale game mode, we also get the Winter Festival theme with this new update. PUBG Corp noted that it will not take the server down for this update. Android users need to download a 610MB package along with a “smoother and more stable” update experience. They will also get the option to download the 332MB package for better graphics or the 592MB package for “upgraded visual effects”.
Moving to the iOS version, PUBG Mobile players will require 1.63GB storage space on their device. The company is also offering upgrade rewards for people downloading the new update before November 15. Inspecting the patch notes, players will get 2888 BP, 100 AG, and a Thorn Trooper backpack. Digging further, we also get two “unique maps” that are based on Erangel and feature ruins, trenches, a bandit camp, and more. PUBG Corp has also introduced a new “underground world” along with a railcar vehicle and more.
Players will also get new gear as part of the update including a new thermal sight, night vision scope, goggles, heavy armor, armor attachments, and more. We also get new weapons, new challenges, and even special monsters from the Metro series. The Metro Royale game mode also comes with a black market, a loadout inventory, and a command post. Beyond this, the metro theme in the classic mode includes underground metro stations, monsters, and a Radiation Zone.
