One more day to go for the Epic Games Store Black Friday Sale to close, but there’s more that the platform has in store. The weekly freebies continue to come in, irrespective of the sales and festivals. Star Wars: Squadrons is currently free on the Epic Games Store, albeit for a limited time. However, the Epic Games Store has already revealed the next set of free games. And rumor has it that the year-end Holiday sale is all set to be back this year. Weekly free games on Epic Games Store- Star Wars: Squadrons and more
Star Wars: Squadrons is free on the Epic Games Store and will be available so until December 1st (Thursday), 9:30 pm IST. Star Wars: Squadrons released in 2020, for PC, Xbox One and PS4, and later received PS VR support. The game is set in the Star Wars Universe, following the events of Return of the Jedi and Rogue Squadron. If the game hasn’t made it to your library yet, now’s your chance to do it for free.
Head over to the Epic Games Store, scroll down to the Free Games section, to find Star Wars: Squadron on the menu. Select “Get” and then “Place Order” to automatically add the game to your library.
Additionally, you will soon be able to add indie games Fort Triumph and RPG in a Box to your library for free as well. Starting this Thursday, December 1st, the games will be free on the Epic Games Store for a week, until December 8th.
The year-end Epic Games Store: Holiday Sale might come back
The Holiday Sale on the Epic Games Store is rumored to return this year. The Epic Games Store Holiday Sale was a huge hit, with free games every day for three weeks. These include acclaimed titles like the Tomb Raider Trilogy, Control, and Prey, to name a few. A user on Dealabs, Billbil Kun has informed on the platform that the Sale’s set to come back “somewhere between December 15, 2022 and January 10, 2023.” While Billbil Kun has previously been correct about such “leaked’ information, nothing official on the same has yet been announced by Epic Games. Regardless, Christmas is a time for cheer and joy, with multiple sales going around everywhere. So we might as well expect one on the Epic Games Store too. In the meantime, don’t forget to check in for the ongoing Black Friday Sale.
