Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra Anime Premieres This July

The anime Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra will start airing on July 6 at 10:30 p.m. JST. The news was shared on the anime’s official website and social media. A new key visual and a trailer featuring the main character, Takuto Ira, were also released.

Based on the manga by Yasaiko Midorihana, the story centers on Takuto, a young boy who spent his final days confined to a hospital bed, battling a terminal illness. During his isolation, he devoted himself to Eternal Nations, a detailed strategy game where he led the dark civilization of Mynoghra to countless victories. Upon his death, Takuto unexpectedly awakens inside the game world, face to face with his most trusted in-game ally, Atou. Together, they set out to rebuild their fallen kingdom and conquer this new reality, one city and battle at a time.

Creative Team and Cast Assembled

The anime is made by Maho Film and directed by Yuji Yanase, who also worked on By the Grace of the Gods. The story is by Kunihiko Okada and Yuka Yamada. The characters are outlined by Kaho Deguchi, who also worked on In the Land of Leadale. Music will be provided by Kujira Yumemi and Midori Narikiyo, both experienced in composing for fantasy titles.

The voice cast includes Toshiki Kumagai as the lead character, Takuto Ira, and Tomori Kusunoki as Atou, his devoted Hero unit. Additional cast members feature Kaori Maeda as Maria, Kanon Takao as Caria, Kikuko Inoue as Isla, Queen of Bugs, Rico Sasaki as Emle, Shinji Kawada as Gia, and Tomomichi Nishimura as Molta.

The anime blends dark fantasy with strategy game elements, promising a tale of survival, conquest, and world-building. Yen Press releases the official English version of the manga, helping more fans around the world enjoy the story.
