Blue Lock: Episode Nagi Heads to the Stage This November

Blue Lock's Episode Nagi heads to stage with returning cast this November in Tokyo.

The popular sports series Blue Lock is set to return in a new stage play based on the spinoff Episode Nagi. This theatrical version will run from November 20 to November 30 at Theater G-Rosso, located in Tokyo Dome City. The announcement was accompanied by teaser visuals showing the lead characters in costume.

Actors Takamichi Sato and Shuji Kikuchi will play Seishiro Nagi and Reo Mikage, respectively. The teaser shows the two reenacting a memorable scene from the story, building excitement for fans of both the manga and anime adaptations.

Familiar Faces Join the Cast

Many cast members from the previous Blue Lock stage plays will return to reprise their roles. The full lineup includes:

  • Kenta Matsui as Zantetsu Tsurugi
  • Nobunaga Sato as Meguru Bachira
  • Ryo Saeki as Hyoma Chigiri
  • Yu Imari as Shoei Baro
  • Yuya Uno as Tabito Karasu
  • Kento as Eita Otoya
  • You Maejima as Ikki Niko
  • Tomoya Nakanishi as Jin Kiyora
  • Hayate Seki as Aiki Himizu
  • Hiromu Sakata as Reiji Hiiragi
  • Ryohei Takenaka as Yoichi Isagi
  • Ryono Kusachi as Rin Itoshi
  • Shojiro Yokoi as Jinpachi Ego

With a strong lineup of returning talent, the play aims to bring the high-stakes drama and energy of Episode Nagi to life on stage.

Series Continues to Expand Globally

Blue Lock continues to grow in popularity, with two anime seasons and a recent film adaptation of Episode Nagi. Crunchyroll currently streams the series and the film outside Japan.

The original story focuses on Japan’s search for a new soccer star. Through an intense program that pits 300 players against each other, only one will rise to lead the team. The stage play promises to capture this fierce competition, adding a new dimension to the Blue Lock universe.
