Demon Slayer Dominates Cutest Anime Girl Poll: Nezuko Ranked #1

Nezuko Kamado from Demon Slayer tops Japan’s fan poll as the cutest Shonen Jump heroine, beating popular characters from One Piece, Naruto, and more

Recently, an anime ranking in Japan got lots of anime fans talking. It was about picking the cutest female character from the Shonen Jump anime series. Fans had many to choose from. Like One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, and others. But in the end, Demon Slayer got the most love. Especially Nezuko.

This ranking was done on Goo Ranking, which is a popular site in Japan for this type of poll. The question was simple—who’s the cutest Shonen Jump heroine? People could pick from old series or new ones. So, they started voting, and when the results came, many fans were a bit surprised.

There were a total of 72 characters in the list. But the biggest surprise was how much love Demon Slayer got. Even more than people thought.

Nezuko Comes Out on Top, Other Demon Slayer Girls Close Too

Nezuko Kamado, who’s the sister of Tanjiro, got the number one place. She doesn't speak much in the anime, but her personality still comes through clearly. Her design is cute, and her demon side adds something extra that people like.

But it wasn’t just her. Two more girls from Demon Slayer made the top rankings. Shinobu got 3rd, and Kanao reached 4th. That shows fans really like the female cast from this series, not just one character.

One Piece Had Many Girls in the Top 10

Even if Nezuko took first, One Piece still had a strong showing. Nami got second, close behind. Then there’s Robin at 5th, Vivi at 6th, Hancock at 8th, and Uta tied in 9th place. It’s fun how One Piece has many kinds of female characters, and fans like them all.

Hinata from Naruto is also there, as always. Orihime from Bleach and Makima from Chainsaw Man are also tied at number 10. Bulma from Dragon Ball landed further down at 13th. Some fans thought she would be higher, maybe.

Nezuko’s Voice Actress Also Making News

Behind Nezuko’s voice is Akari Kito, also known as Akarin. She’s done other popular roles too, like in Love Live and Toilet-bound Hanako-kun. Soon, she’s going to appear in Kaiju No. 8 as Kikoru’s older sister. Her career is growing lately.

Part one of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle trilogy is coming to North America in September 2025. Fans are counting the days. People can watch earlier seasons and movies on Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu. The story about Tanjiro and Nezuko is still strong in viewers' hearts.

This ranking wasn’t just about looks. It showed how fans connect with characters emotionally. Nezuko’s win proves how a quiet, brave girl can leaves a strong impact. She's more than her demon form. She’s someone who still fights to protect people she loves.

Shonen Jump has many great heroines. Some are fighters, some are quiet, some are clever. But all of them give something special to their stories. That’s maybe why fans enjoy voting in lists like these—it reminds them why they started watching in the first place.
