Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Gets New PV and Visual

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle unveils new visual at SDCC 2025, confirms global movie release dates.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has been thriving with lots of new content being released across both film and gaming. During the third PV reveal of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Part 1: Akaza's Return at San Diego Comic-Con, a brand new key visual was revealed. That panel was the biggest panel of the convention, with approximately 6,500 attendees, with many prominent figures of the anime in attendance.

Haruo Sotozaki (Director) and Yuichi Terao (Director of Photography) attended, along with Natsuki Hanae (Japanese voice of Tanjiro) and Aleks Le (English voice of Zenitsu). Also attending was popular artist LiSA, who has done many of the openings/themes for Demon Slayer. The new film visual is incredible with the tagline, "A Place Where Only the Strong Stand".

Release in Other Countries and Warning to Pirates

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Part 1: Akaza's Return first aired in Japan on July 18, 2025. It grossed a huge sum of money in a very short amount of time, and even during its opening weekend, it had 3.84 million viewers, with a gross of around ¥5.52 billion, which means approximately USD 37.4 million. By the end of the weekend, including Monday holiday, the admission was 5.16 million, with gross ticket sales nearing ¥7.31 billion (nearly USD 49.6 million). These records showed the prominence and mass appeal of the franchise in Japan. 

Not even a month after its successful domestic release, the film is set to have a wide release between August 14 and September 25, 2025, and will premiere on September 12, 2025, in North America. Along with this announcement, they put out a serious warning for anyone who leaks or uploads the movie illegally online, stating that the full force of the law will be reserved for them.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga was written by Koyoharu Gotoge and ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2016 to 2020. It had a total of 23 collected volumes. The first season of the anime came out in 2019 and was 26 episodes long. The movie Mugen Train was released in 2020. After such immense success, the movie was integrated into season two, which aired in 2021. Season three was released in 2023, and Season four came out in 2024 and was a build-up to the highly anticipated Infinity Castle arc, which serves as the basis for the new film. I

n addition to all of the movies, a new video game called Hinokami Chronicles 2 has been announced for release on August 5, 2025, and will be released on PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Nintendo Switch, allowing fans to experience the Demon Slayer universe in yet another way.
