Everything You Need to Know About Yor’s Emotional Growth in Spy x Family

This Spy x Family arc, it starts with Anya going back to school. She helped fix a fight between two boys, and then both of them started liking her. That was kind of funny but also sweet. But then, the story moved to Yor and that’s when things started feeling more serious.

True Feelings of Yor

Yor meets Hemlock and Gympie from Garden, and goes on some dangerous mission with them. The fight ended, but Yor didn’t feel better. Instead, she start thinking maybe she don’t belong in that life she’s living with Loid. Even though the marriage is fake, she feels like she care too much now.

Hemlock said people like them don’t need to be part of society at all. That they are shadows, nothing more. Yor started to wonder, what if she can’t tell Loid the truth? Then what’s the point? But Loid doesn’t even know who she really is. He also got his own secret job. So both are hiding things.

Yor meets Hemlock again, just for a moment, and he gives her something Gympie made. But her co-workers see this and think Yor is cheating or hiding something. Now there’s a new misunderstanding. It was just like when Yor once thought Loid liked that woman, Nightfall. These kinds of mix-ups just keep happening.

Loid is also ready to leave the family once his mission ends. He think about it like a job, not feelings. He wants Anya and Yor to live happy life after. But Yor don’t know any of that. She only knows her feelings are real now.

And in Chapter 119, Yor tries to talk with Loid but can’t say what she wants. Still, she realises she doesn't want their marriage to finish. She wants to stay. But if she tells her truth, maybe Loid walks away. So now, she is stuck. She has to decide soon, and whatever she chooses will change everything.
