Golden Kamuy Movie: October 2025 Premiere Dates Revealed

Golden Kamuy fans are getting something big before the anime wraps up. The "Sapporo Beer Factory" arc is coming as a two-part animation in theaters across Japan. The first part comes out on October 10, 2025, and the second on October 31. This is before the final chapter of the anime begins in January 2026 on TV.

A teaser video and one big piece of key art were shown along with the announcement. The main theme song, called Ougon no Achira (which means "The Golden Beyond"), is by Awich and ALI. It sounds like it’s going to be a powerful track to go with this new arc.

Gold Rush in the Cold North

The anime is based on the manga created by Satoru Noda. The story is about Sugimoto, who survived the Russo-Japanese War and is now looking for gold in cold Hokkaido. He finds a map to hidden treasure, but he’s not alone. Others want the gold too, and they can do anything to get it, even kill.

To survive the frozen lands and dangers around, Sugimoto teams up with Asirpa, a young Ainu girl. The series has a mix of action, history, and survival and has been praised for those.

The manga ran from 2014 until 2022 in Weekly Young Jump. Viz Media has the English version. Brains Base is the studio doing the anime now. Shizutaka Sugahara is the chief director, Noboru Takagi writes the series, and Takumi Yamakawa handles the character looks. Older seasons are there on Crunchyroll if people want to catch up.
