Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 movie hits UK cinemas on July 23 in sub and dub formats.

Crunchyroll announced they are releasing the Jujutsu Kaisen Hidden Inventory / Premature Death movie in some cinemas around the UK, and that is on the 23rd of July. This film is like combining part of the second season, all condensed into one film. It will be in both Japanese with subtitles and English dub.

It depicts the Story of what occurred before

This movie isn't about the now things. This goes way back, like 2006. Then, Gojo and Geto were still students, but they were already powerful sorcerers. Then they receive one crucial mission from that Tengen guy—the one who doesn't die. The mission was they need to guard the girl, Riko Amanai, who is like a critical vessel for Tengen. However, after that, they also need to erase her.

And then there was trouble because one murderous sorcerer named Fushiguro arrived. He wants to complete the girl. That is what turns everything around. After all those things, Gojo and Geto never lived the same again. They are moving in opposing directions; one is a hero, the other is cursed.

Japan Already Got the Film First

The film was already released in Japan earlier, on May 30. Over the weekend, it reached number four in the box office ranking. Approximately 138,000 individuals purchased tickets. They made something close to 198 million yen, which is approximately $1.36 million when dollars are considered.

The theme song of the movie is by Tatsuya Kitani. He performed an acoustic rendition of the "Ao no Sumika" song. That was also used for the Season 2 anime opening.

Second Season Had Big Arcs

Season 2 premiered in July 2023 and released two episodes immediately, that like half a year. It presented both the Hidden Inventory arc and the Shibuya Incident arc as well. Crunchyroll broadcast it just like Japan did and even provided an English dub for the fans who desire.

And now this movie allows UK fans to go watch those previous stories once again, but this time within a cinema, where it appears and feels richer.
