Lupin the IIIrd: The Immortal Bloodline Unveils New Trailer, Cast, and Visuals

The latest anime movie, Lupin the IIIrd: The Immortal Bloodline has released fresh promotional material in the run-up to its Japanese theatrical release on June 27, 2025. A new trailer, a dramatic key visual, and two added guest voice cast members were announced, generating hype for the new installment in the Lupin the IIIrd series.

New Cast Members Add Depth to the Story

Two accomplished actors are being added to the voice cast. Ainosuke Kataoka, a prominent kabuki performer, will be voicing Muom, adding a classic stage presence to the role. Actress Aoi Morikawa will be voicing Salifa, a character who is likely to have a large role in the plot of the film. Their addition brings fresh energy and excitement to the narrative and deepens the emotional richness of the story.

The movie, based on Monkey Punch's original, is directed by Takeshi Koike. Telecom Animation Film is animating the film, with Yuya Takahashi having supplied the script. James Shimoji is composing the music for the film, while Katushito Ishii is assisting as a creative advisor. The production is done by TMS Entertainment, and TOHO NEXT is releasing the film in theaters.

 

 

Treasure Hunt on a Mysterious Island

The tale traces master thief Arsène Lupin III and his gang on their quest to a mysterious island, which does not appear on any maps. Legends have it that there is a treasure buried deep inside, but the crew realizes soon enough that the island has more in store than just gold. Perilous challenges and unseen dangers confront them, and the group must employ all their skills and collusion to remain alive.

With a distinctive mix of hip animation, suspenseful storytelling, and the vintage appeal of the Lupin the IIIrd franchise, The Immortal Bloodline is in the making as a compelling theatrical release. Fans can look forward to a high-energy adventure when the film hits theaters next summer.
