Muse India streams Ahiru no Sora and Grimoire of Zero anime for free on YouTube in India.

Muse India's official YouTube channel has added two notable anime titles to its streaming library. Starting this week, Ahiru no Sora, based on Takeshi Hinata's basketball manga, is being uploaded daily. Meanwhile, Grimoire of Zero, adapted from Kakeru Kobashiri’s fantasy light novel, began streaming on April 30.

Sports Drama and Magical Fantasy Reach Indian Audiences

Ahiru no Sora first telecast in Japan during October 2019 and made its telecasting debut in India in November 2022 on Muse Asia. Ahiru no Sora deals with Sora Kurumatani, an unkempt high school boy whose gargantuan love is for basketball. Having a small physical stature, he is moved by his devotion and perseverance to re-establish an idle basketball club constituted of rascals. The series was produced by diomedéa and directed by Shingo Tamaki, with chief director Keizō Kusakawa. Go Zappa composed the script, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi designed the soundtrack. The opening theme song, "Happy Go Ducky!", was performed by The Pillows.

A Journey Through Magic and Identity

In the fantasy division, Grimoire of Zero aired in April 2017 with 12 episodes. It is about a mysterious witch named Zero and a half-beast mercenary. While magic does exist, its scholarly study is all but forgotten. Zero is on a quest to find a powerful book said to contain destructive magic. The mercenary, who wants to become fully human, is along as a bodyguard on this dangerous mission. The anime was created by WHITE FOX and directed by Tetsuo Hirakawa. Character designs were redone by Ryosuke Kimiya and Daisuke Mataga, who were also the chief animation directors. Tapimiru performed the opening and Chima the ending theme songs.

Grimoire of Zero was first a novel series illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma, who received the grand prize in the 20th Dengeki Novel Awards in 2013. The novel spawned a spin-off series and a manga series, which were both published serially between 2014 and 2017 in the Dengeki Maoh magazine.
