My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 in English dub is starting from Saturday, July 19, and it can only be seen on Crunchyroll. This anime, which many people liked because it has both touching scenes and a costume story, is now bringing new episodes again that fans have been waiting for a long time.

The directing for this season is again done by Keisuke Shinohara, who was directing earlier in BLACKFOX. Animation is by CloverWorks, which is known for making bright and colorful anime visuals. The writing is taken care of by Yoriko Tomita, who, before, worked on The Elusive Samurai. Kazumasa Ishida is again designing how the characters look, and the music is from Takeshi Nakatsuka, who was the music maker in The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody. The anime is adapted from a manga by Shinichi Fukuda, which was published from 2018 to 2025, and it has a total of 1of 4 volumes.

This show is about Wakana Gojo, who is going to high school and is really into making those old-style Hina dolls from Japan. He takes it seriously and gives much time to it, but because of that, he is not getting along with classmates who are always doing trendy stuff and following modern ways.

One day, he came across Marin Kitagawa, a very bright and fashionable girl who is totally into cosplay. After she saw Wakana’s good sewing skills, she went and asked him for help to create her cosplay dresses. After that, they start doing things together, working on costumes and spending time together. Bit by bit, they are becoming closer, even if their likes and worlds are not the same at all. Anime is showing how feelings and creativity can go hand in hand. It gives a deep view into cosplay, from making designs to wearing the costume, also showing how it feels from inside for both of them.
