My Hero Academia Season 8 Release Date, Key Visual, and Ultimate Scene Poll Revealed

My Hero Academia Final Season premieres Oct 2025 with new visuals, a fan poll, and returning staff.
The anime My Hero Academia is coming to an end with the eighth season, and now the makers have revealed that it's going to start on October 4, 2025. There was a new visual that got uploaded on their official page and elsewhere, and from it, it's clear that it's going to get extremely intense. The crew that did Season 7 is doing this one as well.
Kenji Nagasaki is once again the chief director, and Naomi Nakayama is now the director. Yosuke Kuroda is again penning the story and script, and Yoshihiko Umakoshi, along with Hitomi Odashima, is performing the character drawings. The music segment is being carried out by Yuki Hayashi as before. Crunchyroll gonna broadcast the season when it starts in October.
Fans Vote for Top Scenes in New Poll
To make things more interesting for the fans, a poll named "Ultimate Scene Ranking" has been initiated. In that, fans can vote for scenes that they enjoyed most from the entire anime. The voting already takes place and will be concluded by September 15, 2025. That will decide which scenes individuals remembered and enjoyed the most.
This anime started life as a manga in July 2014, and it got completed in August 2024 in Weekly Shonen Jump. It has received seven anime seasons, four films, and three spin-off manga titles so far. All the films, such as Two Heroes, Heroes Rising, and You're Next, can be streamed on Crunchyroll, as well as complete TV series and additional specials.
Another franchise part, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, has already received anime as well. The second season of the same is planned and is going to be released in 2026, which they are currently working on.

Also, some time ago, in 2021, it was announced that a live-action one is being made. Shinsuke Sato is directing, and Legendary Entertainment is producing the film. It will be released on Netflix.
Now the anime is nearly completed, and the fans are having lots of emotions about it, because it lingered in their minds for a long time and carried lots of meaning.
