NUKITASHI Anime Adaptation Set for July 2025 with Multiple Viewing Options

Kadokawa had announced that NUKITASHI THE ANIMATION, based on an adult visual novel by Qruppo, will air on July 18 in Japan. The anime is doing something different; it's going to be released in three types, each made with a different level of content control.

NUKITASHI THE ANIMATION: Versions Made for Different Audience Types

So, there are three versions. One is very raw, the other a bit adjusted, and one is for TV rules.

1. “Seiran Island” Version: This one is most open, not much censor. It will show on AT-X and will also be on Blu-ray Disc.
2. Streaming-Only Version: It’s the middle one, got some censor, but still kinda bold. It will be on several streaming sites.
3. Fully Regulated Version: This is most strict, so it can be shown on public channels like BS11, KBS Kyoto, Mie TV, and others.

 

Cast and Voices In It

The story follows Junnosuke Tachibana, voiced by Kōhei Yanagi, with other characters also joining:

• Ako Koaki as Asane Tachibana
• Masumi Tazawa as Tōka Reizeiin

Staff That Make the Anime

It is directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama, and the script is by Kenta Ihara. Also, Naoto Kurahone and Yuu Kamichika helped with scripts. Kumata did the character design. Music made by Hakushaku Ebikare, Sasa Ikeki, Umigame, and Kashiko Animation. Animation done by Studio Passione.

The original game was released in 2018 and got attention for its bold idea. A manga also began in 2020, drawn by Mameojitan, and it already has six volumes now.

The story is set in a place called Seiran Island, where people act freely because of a strange law that lets them have desires. Junnosuke and his group, NLNS, want to stop that law and take the island back to normal.

This anime has something different than usual. From story to how it’s released, NUKITASHI THE ANIMATION looks ready to make noise. Doesn’t matter if you want the full version or the clean one — there’s an option for all.
