Ready to Sing? Let's Go Karaoke! Anime Premieres July 2025 – New Trailer & Theme Song Inside!

Only a few weeks to go before Let’s Go Karaoke! comes out, and now there’s a new trailer, a new poster, and theme song details too. The anime will start airing in Japan on July 24. Crunchyroll also confirmed it will be part of their summer simulcast, so people outside Japan can also watch at the same time.

The main story is not like usual high school anime. Satomi Oka is a high schooler who lead the chorus club. One day, he gets asked something strange. A yakuza man, named Kyoji Narita, comes to him and ask for help. It’s not about fighting, but karaoke singing. In Kyoji’s group, they have karaoke contests, and the worst singer has to get a tattoo. Kyoji don’t want that.

So now, Satomi ends up becoming Kyoji's singing coach. They start meeting up for practice. It’s funny, but also awkward. Two different worlds meet, and karaoke is the only link. What happens next? That’s the part of the story that might surprise you.

The Team Working on the Show

The anime is made by Doga Kobo studio, who have done good jobs on comedy anime before. Direction is by Asami Nakatani. Helping her is Yukiko Tsukahara. The story writing part is done by Yoshimi Narita. Mai Matsuura does the character look, and Takuro Ida handles the music.

For the theme song, artist Ayumu Imazu performs the main track called “HOWL.” The song’s mood fits the strange story—it’s a mix of serious, silly, and sometimes emotional.

From Manga Pages to Anime Screens

Let’s Go Karaoke! started as manga in Japan, published by Enterbrain through Beam Comics. English readers may have already read it, since Yen Press has the English version out. Now with the anime, many more people might find this strange but charming story.

This anime may not look like your usual school or yakuza story, and that’s kind of the point. It mixes two completely opposite characters, throws in karaoke, and somehow it works.
