ROLL OVER AND DIE Anime Drops First Trailer and Visual, Sets 2026 Air Date

Yuri fantasy anime ROLL OVER AND DIE unveils 2026 release, teaser trailer, and Ayaka Nanase as Flum Apricot
The anime ROLL OVER AND DIE: I Will Fight for an Ordinary Life with My Love and Cursed Sword! now has a teaser. They shared the news on their official website and also on X (which was called Twitter before). Along with a short trailer, they also dropped a key image and said the anime will come out in 2026.
Flum Apricot, who is the main person in this story, is now confirmed to be voiced by Ayaka Nanase. You may remember her from Sakura Quest as Yoshino. She is giving voice to a character who faced many tough times. The teaser already gave a hint of the dark things in the story.
Flum’s Life Start Bad, Then Suddenly Changed
Flum was born with some strange ability called “Reversal,” but she didn’t know what it really did. When the heroes team was formed to stop the Demon Lord, she got picked too—but in the end, no one saw her as helpful. In fact, they threw her out and she got sold like property to a man who makes people fight for survival. Flum thought her life ended there. But then she finds this huge cursed sword, and suddenly everything changes. Her real power finally shows. Now, with a girl named Milkit, she starts to move on from her hard past.
This story wasn’t always big. It began as a small web novel written by Kiki in 2018. Later, Micro Magazine released it as a printed book under their GC Novels brand. The manga version by Sunao Minakata also came out after that. English readers can already get both manga and novels, thanks to Seven Seas Entertainment.

Even though the teaser is out and the main cast is told, the creators behind the scenes are still a mystery. We don’t yet know who’s directing, drawing or writing the show. That info should be coming later.
This anime is not just about swords and battles, but also feelings, trust and finding yourself. It had heavy themes, but a hopeful tone too. Fans are now looking forward to more info, and the teaser gave just enough to get people curious. 2026 is not too far—hopefully, more details coming soon.
