SHIROHIYO - Reincarnated as a Neglected Noble: Raising My Baby Brother With Memories From My Past Life is gearing up for it’s television debut in Japan on July 6, 2025. The official accounts recently revealed a new key visual that perfect captures the magical and emotional tone of the series.

Story and Characters

The story unfold in the declining Kio Empire. The main character is Prince Ageha, a five-year-old boy who is overweight and abandoned by his parents. What makes Ageha unique is that he hold memories from a past life as a Japanese man from another world. This past-life memory shapes his actions as he takes on the unexpected role of raising his baby half-brother, Regulus. Ageha’s motivation are driven by a troubling vision: Regulus might one day try to kill him over the empire’s inheritance. After Regulus’s mother pass away, Ageha steps in to protect and nurture him. As Regulus grows close, Ageha gradually becomes a caring and devoted older brother. Together, these young brothers faces many challenges, including divine intervention, as they strive to restore their empire and build a brighter future.
 

Production and Staff

Behind the scenes, the anime is directed by Masafumi Sato, known for his work on A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics. Mitsutaka Hirota, who previously wrote Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time, handle the series composition. The charming character designs comes from Tomoko Miyakawa, who also worked on Sweet Reincarnation. Meanwhile, the soundtrack is composed by Arisa Okehazama, recognized for her music in The Apothecary Diaries. The animation studio Studio Comet bring this fantasy world to life with vibrant and detailed visuals.

Release and Reception

The anime has already started streaming early on ABEMA, with the first episodes release on April 20, 2025. Crunchyroll also streams the show globally outside Japan, syncing with ABEMA’s schedule. Fans can’t wait for the seventh episode coming out on May 25.

The main voice cast includes Misaki Kuno as Ageha, Mariya Ise as Regulus, and several other talented actors lending their voices to bring this characters to life. The series is based on a popular light novel written by Yashiro and illustrated by keepout. The light novel first appeared online in 2018 and has grown into a successful franchise with 13 volumes published by TO Books, as well as a manga adaptation available digitally in English.
