Another manga licensed is The Terrifying Students at Ghoul School by Mai Tanaka. The story begins as a new semester starts at Hyakki Academy. Tanuki Mamekichi Maizuka and nekomata Tamao Akisame are among the problem students who fill the school’s halls this year. This series explores the origins of characters fans know from A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School.
Also included in the licenses is The Girl Past the Filters by Suzu Ōmi. The story centers on Narumi Hakobe, a high school student who usually has a blank expression. Quiet and unassuming in class, Narumi’s main interest is following “Efa,” a girl who posts provocative photos on social media. He is surprised to learn that Efa’s real identity is his diligent and popular classmate, Mitsuha Koto.
Yen Press also announced the Fruits Basket Complete Box Set by Natsuki Takaya. This comprehensive set allows fans to relive Tohru Honda’s journey from sadness to hope as she works to break the Sohma family’s curse. The box set features new cover designs and a set of collectible lenticular cards. All the series’ emotional and humorous moments are collected in this beautiful package.

In addition to manga, Yen Press revealed plans to release audiobooks in October. These include I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too by Miku and If the Villainess and Villain Met and Fell in Love by Harunadon. With these audiobook releases, Yen Press diversifies its range of offerings, which is important for readers who enjoy consuming stories in audio format.
With these manga licenses and audiobook announcements, Yen Press is expanding its offerings and events into wider circles, allowing many more to enjoy their news stories.
