For people who love martial arts, Tekken games are blessings for them. However, the installment people are eagerly waiting for is Tekken 8 but its release date is far away from the player's knowledge.
There has not been any official announcement regarding Tekken 8 but the developers took one step which made everyone question "why"?
Developers formally scolded players for using Tekken CNT
Recently the developers posted on Twitter regarding the misuse of their CNT even after the test period was closed. Interestingly, they issued a short notice addressing that how this can cause them trouble in the future.
Tekken's developers took their twitter handle and penned, "An important reminder from the TEKKEN Project and Bandai Namco Esports Team."
In the post, he wrote,
"We have noticed that some players have accessed the Tekken 8 closed network test (cnt) and played the game beyond the closed test period. Such actions breach the terms of service and the Tekken world tour code of conduct. Also, the unauthorized download or distribution of the game is illegal."
He further penned,
"Please note that any player found to have accessed the cnt without authorization may be deemed ineligible for the upcoming tekken world tour and other official tournaments. Your cooperation in preserving the fairness and competitive integrity of our competition is highly valued. Thank you."
The preview or test gaming that the developers were talking about was only the PC-only preview. Regrettably, as the test client was on PC, cunning participants were able to duplicate its files and create a functional version that is distinct from Bandai Namco's scheduled stress test.
