Prior to the upcoming event Pokemon Go datamine revealed brand new costumes for Pikachu

Recently, exciting news has been revealed through Data mines Pikachu will be sporting a brand new summer outfit in an upcoming event of Pokemon. Also, there will be a new Mythical Pokemon making its debut at Pokemon GO Fest 2023 this August.

While the Routes feature in Pokemon GO is currently experiencing technical difficulties, players can still look forward to earning new Pokemon and rewards by participating in Pokemon GO Fest 2023 throughout August.

New summer outfits for Pikachu 

The event will first take place in London and Osaka on August 4, followed by New York City on August 18, and will last for three consecutive days in each location. This will allow players to catch new Pokemon, including the Mythical Pokemon Diancie.

Diancie will also be available during the start of Pokemon GO Fest 2023: Global on August 26 in your local area. Meanwhile, according to a recent datamine by PokeMiners, Pikachu will have a new summer shirt costume available during Pokemon GO Fest 2023. This costume seems to be an Okinawan Kariyushi Shirt Pikachu costume variation, which was released exclusively in Japan during the Air Adventures Okinawa event in Pokemon GO.

The data only shows the in-game model for the new Pikachu costume, so it is unclear how it will be obtained. But, based on recent findings, it appears that a shiny costume variation will be obtainable during the yearly event.

Debut of Mega and Shiny versions of Diancie

In the data mine, there are images of the new Pikachu costume as well as the Mega and shiny versions of Diancie. Players attending Pokemon GO Fest 2023 in London and Osaka will have the first opportunity to catch Diancie. Additionally, Diancie's Mega Evolution will be available exclusively in London and Osaka, with players in the United States and other regions having to wait until the latter half of August to access it.

The costume worn by Pikachu during Pokemon GO Fest 2023 may not be completely unique, but it could still be a delightful surprise for Pokemon GO enthusiasts. The summer shirt featured in the costume was previously only available in Japan, making it a sought-after addition for fans. Niantic is expected to provide more information about how players can obtain this costume as the event approaches in just one week.
