Bethesda has just released the latest update for its AAA video game title, DOOM Eternal on the global stage. As part of the update, the company rolled out Part 2 of its “The Ancient Gods” DLC. This part concludes “The Ancient Gods” story arch and it is also the “final campaign expansion” of the game. The update brings three new locations to the game that players have not seen before. In addition, we also get new enemy variants and a new weapon for the Doom Slayer. The update launched just days after Bethesda released the official trailer of the update online. DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 out; details

Bethesda shared all the details of the new update in a dedicated blog post showcasing all the new content. The company re-iterated that players need to purchase The Ancient Gods- Part Two, the Deluxe Edition of DOOM Eternal, or the Year One Pass. This includes three new locations including The World Spear, Reclaimed Earth, and Immora. We also get a new cosmetic skin for the DOOM Slayer called “Barbarian Slayer” and players can directly unlock it. The master-collection of this skin includes a new podium, podium animations, alternate skins, player badges, and icons.

Besides the skin, the second highlight of the update is the new “Sentinel Hammer” which uses “Wraith energy” to function. Players can use this to stun their enemies and extract resources like health, ammo, and more. Other elements include “Super Shotgun MeatHook Grapple Points” to navigate from one place to another and several new enemy variants. The game developer also released “exclusive Deluxe Slayer skins in each level”. These skins include “World Spear”, “Survivor”, and “Hellforged”. We also got a small list of known issues that the company acknowledged with the new update. In addition to “The Ancient Gods Part 2”, the company also shared details about the fifth update to the game. This includes a new “Racecar” HUD option and a new “Weapon Wheel Open Delay” option for players. We also got updates to the “BATTLEMODE” including bug fixes and improvements.
