Microsoft has just revealed some new details around its Xbox Game Pass subscription service for the month of December. This information comes just days after the company teased some new games for the service. In addition, the company also reiterated the previously shared announcements regarding EA Play. Beyond this, Xbox also outlined a new holiday offer on the Game Pass subscription. Looking at the offer, first-time subscribers can get a three-month subscription for just $1. It is likely that this offer is also applicable in India for Rs 50. However, we have reached out to Microsoft for confirmation on this and will update the copy later. Xbox Game Pass gets new games in December, details
The highlight of this announcement is the arrival of Control and Doom Eternal to the Xbox Game Pass. Both these games will arrive on December 3. Control will be available on Android and Console while Doom Eternal will come to Xbox Game Pass for PC. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users will also get Rage 2, Slime Rancher, Yes, and Your Grace on December 3. Other games coming on the same date to regular Game Pass include Haven, and Va-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action.
Dragon Quest XI S is coming to the regular subscription on December 4, while Unto the End arrives on December 9. Ultimate users get Monster Sanctuary on Dec 8, Assetto Corsa, Gang Beasts, GreedFall, Superhot and Yooka-Laylee, and the Impossible Lair on Dec 10. Microsoft is also adding Xbox Touch controls to multiple games available on Android through cloud gaming. These titles include Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Golf with Your Friends, Hyperdot, Ikenfell, Indivisible, ScourgeBringer, The Touryst, and Vambrace Cold Soul.
Microsoft is also adding a stand-alone expansion of the game called “Mount & Blade: Warband”. The company also outlined several DLC and game updates coming to various titles this month. Some of the games getting the updates include Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Crusader Kings III, Fallout 76 Steel Dawn, and Golf with Your Friends: The Deep. Microsoft is also rolling out a significant update to its Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The update will bring new and better aerial textures to several airports in multiple states across the USA. This list also includes Minecraft Dungeons: Howling Peaks, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Totally Reliable. The official announcement also outlines Game Pass Ultimate rewards including 3 months of Discord Nitro, several Game Pass Quests, and the list of games leaving the free tier.
