Why Kicks Flopped (Until Now)

Epic introduced Kicks to bring more customization to Fortnite. Instead, it was a bit of a disaster:

Delays – The feature got pushed back due to visual issues.
Compatibility Issues – Some of the biggest skins, like Solid Snake & Goku Black, couldn’t even wear them.
Expensive AF – Some Kicks cost 1,000 V-Bucks, the same as a full skin.
Who’s Looking at Feet? – Let’s be real, you barely see your character’s shoes mid-game.

Because of all this, most players ignored Kicks entirely—but this rumored change could finally make them worth caring about.
